On Wednesday, July 8 at 6 p.m., the National Women’s Political Caucus (NWPC) for the Greater Pasadena Area will present a virtual political training session that invites women who are considering running for political office to hear from women who have been there.

Whether your interest is in serving on the local school board, a city commission or the city council, current and former women office holders will share their expertise and experience.

Open to women living in Altadena, Glendale, La Cañada, Pasadena and Sierra Madre, this virtual political campaign strategy training session will provide information about everything from how to negotiate the campaign filing process to getting appointed to city or county commissions.

Highlighting this virtual training session for women will be former Pasadena Vice-Mayor and current NWPC-Greater Pasadena Area Chairperson Jacque Robinson-Baisley and Pasadena City Clerk Mark Jomsky. Other participants include Sandra Chen Lau, Pasadena City College trustee; former Pasadena city council candidates Char Bland and Tammy Godley; and retired educator Dianne Philibosian. Register here.
