The Pasadena High School girls basketball team is off to a strong start under the guidance of Head Coach Jett Del Mundo. After finishing with a 22-11 record last season, the Bulldogs look to improve on their stellar season and make a push for a league and CIF title.
The Bulldog season began on November 24, and it began in dominant fashion. Taking on Jurupa Valley in the Gary Houston Invitational, Pasadena began their season with a 60-12 romping. Though success would be more difficult to come by going forward, the Bulldogs have been able to rack up wins at a steady rate.
PHS currently has an 8-2 record and have been impressive in every facet. In their eight wins, they are defeating their opponents by an average of 20 points per game. Beginning on December 26, the Bulldogs begin play in the Glendora Christmas Tournament. League action begins on Jan. 3.
